【The Historic Stage | The Old Public Hall of Hakodate Ward】

Perched on a hill overlooking Hakodate Port, the Old Public Hall is a Nationally Designated Important Cultural Property that embodies the splendor of the Meiji era. With its striking blue-gray and yellow exterior, the building was constructed in 1910 through donations from local citizens, including the wealthy merchant Soma Teppei.

The interior boasts elegant and stately spaces, including a lavish Grand Hall and luxurious guest rooms once used by the Imperial Family. This is a true stage of history, having once hosted the Crown Prince who would later become Emperor Taisho. This plan offers you exclusive private access to this remarkable location. In the Grand Hall, under the glittering light of magnificent chandeliers, you can reflect on over a century of history while enjoying a banquet for one night only.
